Spiritual nourishment (the milk of the word) is more important than physical nourishment. But both are essential. If we go through life without food for our physical bodies, we will die! If we go through life without, spiritual nourishment from the Word of God -- The Bible, we will most surely develop poor spiritual health and finally die!!!!

The Road We Travel

Do you realize how far we have travelled on our journey through the New Testament? Day 1 was on March 2nd. In 20 Days, we have finished 7 Books.

(Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians)

We read Genesis in February, and 7 New Testament books since then.

This is our spiritual food for the health of our souls. Even if you fall behind, do not give up. You can do it. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13) “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” (Psalm 119:11)

Read your Bible and pray every day and "you will grow, grow, grow". We have ten days to go. But after we obey the gospel we practice our service to God for an eternity. The older we serve him the sweeter it grows!

Colossians 3:1-3

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above,

where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.”

“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”

“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”

Romans 12:1

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,

that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,

holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
